Merry Christmas from the land down under, where Christmas falls in the middle of summer holidays. The girls found Monty soaking up some rays.
They also discovered nearby a copy of Christmas Wombat by Jackie French. We love the whole series of wombat books which follow the antics of one single-minded wombat. The Christmas book tells the tale of the wombat's hunt for carrots while he hitches a ride on Santa's sleigh around the world. Simple, clever, and unbelievably cute!
